SCOTTY D's was born in the winter of 2004 – 05 to bring you fine tastes from around the world. After several years of R & D, trial and error, and old fashioned, downright persistence, we have produced our first of many seasonings, rubs and sauces.

With our roots in BBQ and outdoor slow cooking, we set out to offer the backyard chef exciting and exotic blends from around the world. One thing led to another and our line immediately extended beyond BBQ. Our products are adaptable to any type of cooking, indoors or out.

Scott and Sheila Donaldson founded SCOTTY D's on old world values of quality, patience, hard work and satisfaction. From the early stages of our life together, we have had a passion for fine foods and serving them for friends and family. Over the years, this passion has expanded from our kitchen and back yard to attending seminars, cooking shows and classes. Years of self-study, practice and an ever-expanding cooking library have brought us to this point. Now we would like to bring these experiences to your kitchen and grill.

Extensive travel throughout the United States , Caribbean, Mexico have been both a culinary delight and an education. Trips to Europe , Central America , Down Under and Canada have also influenced our products. It was the culinary pleasures of these trips that planted the idea to bring these exotic and wonderful tastes to everyone. Future trips are planned back to Europe , and on to Asia , South America , and the South Pacific. Down the road, the tastes of Africa and the Middle East will be at your doorstep.
